“Victory Stand”

 1 Kings 20:27

Israel then mustered its army, sat up supply lines, and moved into

the battle.  But the Israelite army looked like two little flocks of goats

in comparison to the vast Syrian forces that filled the countryside!  (NLT)

     The army that God has on this earth is small compared to the vast army that Satan has been building since the fall of mankind.  From all outward appearances it seems like  the army of Satan is winning, but in reality, God's army stands in victory.  The Almighty God has His reasons for allowing the evil to flourish, but our Lord God is completely sovereign and in control of everything.  It's true that we live in a world that is in rapid decline and the Church of Christ Jesus is fighting for its very life against the powerful forces of Satan, but Christians should never live in fear, because we are protected and provided the Way to stand victorious against all the odds.  For at just the right moment, King Jesus will remove His Church from this wicked world and will unleash His wrath against those who stand with the Enemy.  But until then, we must stay in the Lord and be aware of the Devil, because he can fool you into a comatose state of complacency that is both dangerous and deadly. 

     As a child of the living God you are battling against a world that is lead by the Devil and evil forces of darkness.  You must prepare yourself by putting on the full armor of God everyday, because without it, you are easy game for the hungry jaws of Satan, who wants nothing more than to devour  your soul and digest you into Hell.  No matter how strong you may think you are, you are putty in the hands of Satan without the saving power of God the Holy Spirit.  When you battle the dark forces of evil on your own, you will lose and join Satan, His fallen angels, and all unrepentant sinners into the eternal burning Lake of Fire forever.  You cannot win the battle for your heart, mind and soul without the Power of God.  And as a soldier in God’s mighty army of saints, you will learn quickly that the dark forces of evil are putty in the hands of God.

                                 A Whisper of Hope

To follow Me…is victory in life and death.   Although My human army is small, it has the power of the Creator.  Satan’s evil army is vast but short-lived, for the war will soon be over.  Stand confident and courageous My child, for one day soon you will stand in victory and live forever in peace.

Revelation 17:14

“Together they will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb

will defeat them because He is Lord over all lords, and King over

all kings, and His people are the called and chosen and faithful ones.”   (NLT)

                   He will swallow up death in victory!
