                         “Look Carefully”
 Colossians 3:1-2
Since you have been raised to new life with Christ,
set your sights on the realities of Heaven, where
Christ sits at God’s right hand in the place of honor
and power. Let Heaven fill your thoughts.  Do not
think only about things down here on earth.  (NLT)

We live on this earth but a brief moment in time—a very short life that has no guarantees and could end at any given moment.  This is one of the many reasons why it is so important that we learn the Truth; what is reality and what is not—what is true and what is false.  We must know the difference because knowing the absolute Truth not only improves the quality of life in the here and now, but it also answers the many questions that are embedded in our hearts and minds.  What lies beyond this brief life, if anything?  Do our lives really matter or do we simply live and cease to exist.  Is there another life awaiting us after this one?  And if there is, are we held accountable for how we live this life?  And if we are held accountable, then what are the consequences?  These are very legitimate questions that require very truthful answers, because the truth about this short life and our imminent death is what sets us free from living in fear and doubt.  If it's the Truth that you are looking for, my friend, you must look to the Source of all truth—the Creator and Author of Life.
The Lord our God is both the Giver and Taker of all life, and He has graciously given us a truly clear picture about life and death, and what lies on the other side.  By seeing the bigger picture, you can ask the Lord to plot a course that will navigate you safely through this difficult life-journey; one that will take you Home where you were meant to live forever with your Maker.  It's extremely wise to focus on the longevity of God’s life for you, rather than foolishly living for the moment.  The Lord created you as a physical and spiritual being who will exist forever.  As a created eternal being, you have been blessed with the ability to choose your eternal destination; you can be eternally glorified with Christ or eternally condemned with the Devil, or you can simply buy a lottery ticket and hope for the best.  Be wise and seek the Truth so you can better prepare yourself for the end of this life. Be wise and be glorified with Christ.

                                  A Whisper of Hope
Set your eyes on Heaven, dear child…and live in peace.  Don’t let this fallen world dupe you into believing the lies of Satan, for they only bring you false hope and eternal darkness.  Instead, set your eyes on the new and improved eternal life in Heaven and live accordingly.

Psalm 103:15-26
Our days on earth are like grass; like wildflowers, we bloom and die.
The wind blows, and we are gone—as though we had never been here.  (NLT)

Oh, remember that my life is a breath!
                                       (Job 7:7)
