“Cushion of Peace”

 Psalm 29:11

The LORD gives His people strength.

The LORD blesses them with peace.  (NLT)

     When you surrender to your Savior, many amazing things begin to happen, and one of these is receiving the incredible peace that comes with knowing that the One True God has forgiven all of your many sins, wiping your record clean, and clothing you in the righteousness of Jesus.  It's knowing you will escape eternal condemnation and be adopted into God's Heavenly Family forever.  Knowing and believing that you have the power and wisdom of God living inside of you will add to that peace and He will help you, especially during the inevitable storms of life that can completely destroy ones life.  It is God’s Sovereign Power over that provides us with a peace that cushions our many falls in this difficult life-journey.  Many people throughout the world are struggling just to stay alive in this godless world that is putting less and less value on human life.  We live in sin, in fear of tomorrow, and in fear of death, and we do it while suffering much trouble, pain, and discouragement, which will continue to beat us down until we are dead.   Because of the utter chaos and uncertainty that living in this fallen world brings, there is a  desperate need to know that the God in Heaven is real, that He really cares, and He has promised to help us defeat this evil world, no matter what.  Our Lord God and Savior cares about all peoples,  and He can save our souls and bring His peace to anyone in this world that delivers only trouble and death. 

     There is but One Way to peace my friend, you must surrender your troubled life into the hands of the Savior and allow Him to heal your wounds, nourish your life, and bring peace into your troubled heart.  You must simply trust Jesus and allow Him to do what only God can do; save your soul and give you peace.  When you know and trust in the Prince of Peace, He will fill your heart, give you rest, and comfort your weary soul.  You don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but the Savior knows.  You don’t have the wisdom or strength to battle this evil world alone, but the Living God does.  Living this difficult life without Jesus will make you crazy, depressed, sad, empty, lonely, frustrated, and you will be so anxious and fearful that you will never experience the joy of living.  When you know that you will be with the Lord when you die, there is peace.  When you know you will not share in the fate of Satan, there is joy.  Make the Lord your Cushion of Peace and truly live.

                      A Whisper of Hope

Come, My child…and I will give you My peace, a peace that endures all things of this fallen world.  When you come to Me I will show you the Way to live.  I will comfort your weary soul and lighten the burdens you were never meant to bear.  Come to Me and live life to the fullest.

John 14:27
